Apocalypse Game Sunday 11th October

As Al hasn't posted it yet (tsk, tsk) I thought I'd throw this out there and get the ball rolling!

Maybe at mine this time, need to measure the available floor space...

YOU LIE!!! I thought you'd already measured it ;)

Besides which with both of our legendary abilities for estimating measurements...

Steve: "Hmm got to be at least 96 foot x 96 foot this room"

But still well up for playing at yours and drink someone elses tea and coffee :D

Done some digging and indeed you can obtain a copy of IMPERIAL ARMOUR VOLUME SIX - THE SIEGE OF VRAKS PART TWO,
Just follow the below link:

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/QUATERMASTERS_STORE_IMPERIAL_ARMOUR_BOOKS_12.html

Looking on the internet these days it's really disappointing to see how piracy has spread, it must be hard for decent companies such as Forgeworld to earn a decent profit, when others are freely distrubuting copyrighted material over the internet for free. Whilst searching to obtain the above retail site I came across the following site, offering the same product for free:

http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/99362117/SIEGE+OF+VRAKS?tab=summary

It's about time someone started clamping down on these sites.

Measured now, the room is over 5m x 4m (or 16'+ x 13'), then we need space to move furniture out of the way and move around etc but that should still leave us with about 9 or 10 foot by 8 or 9 foot which is a bit bigger than the board :)

Now if I can recall correctly from the battered remnants of my mind Andy made a good suggestion on Saturday night that we should play Imperial Guard vs Space Marines for the upcoming Apoc bash.

Sounds good to me, what you you chaps, also what points should we be looking at? Oh yes, was there any house rules we wanted to use?

Cheers,

Dal.

P.S. Purchased that Baneblade yet Al? Must start planning (and painting for that matter).

Andy won't know until Sunday morning if he can make it or not (I'll let him tell you without the whole world seeing)

With this in mind we should cancel Apoc for this week and have a normal game instead.

This okay with everyone?

In November however we've got 1st (Normal game only) and the 29th available

Then 6th December

Cheers

Ok, no problem with that - usual bat-time, usual bat-place!

Might not be able to do 1st will let you know as soon as I know and all that.

This will of course let me assemble an overwhelming force or at least glue a few more men together ;)

Cheers,

Dal
